#StopHazaraGenocide
The Hazara people have faced centuries of persecution, displacement, and massacre. We stand with our community. We will not be silent.
Standing for Justice
At SABA Hazara Group, our aim is to raise awareness about the humanitarian needs of the Hazara community in Afghanistan. The Hazara people have endured centuries of systematic persecution, ethnic cleansing, and targeted violence at the hands of extremist groups and oppressive regimes.
Despite international attention, the suffering continues. Hazara communities face targeted bombings of schools, mosques, and hospitals; forced displacement from their ancestral lands; denial of basic human rights including education and freedom of movement; and deliberate acts of mass killing that constitute genocide under international law.
As a Sydney-based organisation rooted in the Hazara diaspora, we believe that silence is complicity. We organise memorial events, community dialogues, and advocacy campaigns to ensure Australian policymakers, civil society, and the broader public understand the scale of this crisis and respond with meaningful action.
We call on the Australian Government, the United Nations, and the international community to formally recognise the genocide of the Hazara people, to hold perpetrators accountable, and to provide safe pathways for Hazara refugees.
#StopHazaraGenocide is not just a hashtag , it is a demand for justice, recognition, and an end to impunity.
